You’ve got to be kidding
More leafy mulch falls out of the sky than I could ever
use. During the past few weeks, my
driveway has disappeared. (see photo) The
good news is that kind neighbors will be arriving one of these days with a
heavy-duty mower and equipment to vacuum up huge loads of shredded oak leaves. The chopped leaves are then dumped to form a pile
of impressive proportions behind my garage.
In past years, bags of those shredded leaves have gone home to gardens where there are few trees to drop their treasured leaves…leaves that can be used as mulch or soil conditioner. So, if you need leaves that are chopped into prime condition for mulch or soil amendment, you are welcome to come and take all you can haul away.
